This is piece is created by watercolor background using salt to textured the paint. Overlayed with arcylic paint blocking. When I first started this piece, I was trying to do a landscape but got frustrated with the size. I usually do detailed smaller pieces but was trying to challenged myself. I wanted to add a different element to the traiditional watercolor paintings I've seen so I melded two mediums I that l've work in. I like how this piece came out and I look forward to working in this style further.
